On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager - Bilingual (English/Spanish) for a 5 week contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves international banking data migration and transformation to the cloud. The IT Project Manager will lead the seamless integration and governance of cloud data, ensuring efficient and standardized solutions for secure data access and usage.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10 years of progressive experience in project management, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
  • 5+ years of experience in business case development and budget ownership.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects with significant business impact.
  • 5 years of experience applying Agile methodologies in large-scale environments.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

IT PROJECT MANAGER - BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata, and quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) and data modernization projects.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis and ROI projections.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and transparency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
  • Apply Agile principles to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, promoting continuous improvement and team collaboration.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
