Computer Technology Services, incorporated in 1985, provides I.T. Consulting and staffing services to both public and private sector customers. For the role we are looking for an experienced individual to support a “Big 4” organization in the areas of Tax and Tax Technology. This is a Full-time position working directly for CTS. This role may require occasional travel and we’re looking for candidates who live in Eastern and Central time zones only.
Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced “HANDS-ON” Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, Business Transformation, Project Management, Risk Management and Strategic Planning. Additional skills include identifying business needs, managing timelines, creating presentations, and collaborating with both business and technical teams. This position will not have direct reports or budget responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years as a “HANDS-ON” Project Manager, this position will not have direct reports or budget responsibilities.
  • Understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Must have experience with project management tools and project methodologies.
  • Must possess technical knowledge to understand/interact with the architect team.
  • Must identify key business problems, collect and analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong ability to identify issues and creatively design solutions.
  • NO 1099 or Sub-Contractors (must be a W2 employee).
  • No Sponsorships.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and assess existing business processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
  • Work with lines of business within the organization and report up to the PMO.
  • Develop workflows.
  • Perform gap analysis and provide insights into potential solutions.
  • Provide project management support, including tracking project progress, managing timelines, building dashboards, providing statistical information, strategic planning, and creating presentations.
  • Assist in risk management by identifying potential issues and suggesting mitigations.
  • Monitor and manage project milestones and deliverables.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams and the PMO.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather information and review deliverables, and resolve issues.
