Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an outstanding, hardworking IT Project Manager with a passion for designing cutting-edge computer systems and technology integration efforts. Working with an application engineering team, the successful candidate will support requirements engineering responsibilities including requirements gathering, test case creation, customer needs documentation, and schedule management. Responsibilities On any given day, you may be called on to: Define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Provide tactical planning for the successful execution of technical information systems engineering projects with an end-to-end system view (requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, operations, and retirement). Work with an innovative team with a variety of skills in multiple proficiency areas including: Data and knowledge management, user interface/user experience computer infrastructure design, requirements analysis, software development, software assessment, systems integration, system architectures, deployment and maintenance, and systems testing and evaluation Identify potential issues, risks and contingency plans. Interact with customers, partners, project team members, and management to deliver information systems that align with cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Develop product plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk management plans, and other documentation required for the project Typically oversee scope, cost, and schedule of a project; working on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources. Commensurate experience and education for the specific level. Qualifications BS/BA in relevant discipline plus minimum 3 years or more of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the job. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance Must be US Citizen Required Experience: Department is in need of an experienced Project Manager with Requirements Engineering experience. Desired Experience: Agile project management experience and scrum master training is a plus. Experience implementing custom Oracle APEX applications is also a plus.
