IT Project Manager

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an IT project manager to join the IT, Security and Data team, providing an excellent IT Project delivery to our end users and customers ensuring effective delivery and handover of new services into production..
You will be responsible for ensuring that IT Projects (infrastructure and software) are delivered on time, within budget and to specification, working with a complex structure of internal and external stakeholders and delivery teams as well as external parties and contractors.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Degree level qualification
• Prince2 qualification, APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or Agile Practitioner qualification
• At least five years’ experience of managing IT infrastructure and software projects of various scope and scale up to millions of pounds of spend, ideally within the education sector
• Confidence in dealing and communicating with all levels of stakeholders
• The ability to apply problem solving techniques and get results
• The ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues
• The ability to react quickly and effectively to issues and opportunities
• The ability to self-manage, organise, and prioritise tasks and work under pressure during troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong personal drive and willingness to get things done
• Self-motivation and commitment to delivery on time and to a high quality
• Demonstrable experience of balancing priorities and successful delivery of objectives, in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• The ability to react quickly and effectively to issues, risks and opportunities
• The ability to self-manage, organise, and prioritise tasks and work under pressure in a time critical setting
