Description

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead application integrations and system implementation projects within our IT landscape. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of technology initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, inquisitive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage projects independently while proactively engaging with teams to drive progress. While this role does not require deep technical solutioning, the ability to understand IT concepts, communicate effectively with technical teams, and translate business needs into actionable project plans is essential.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams (developers, architects, IT support) and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex projects into manageable tasks.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications (Preferred): SAFe, PMP, or other relevant project management certifications.
Responsibilities
  • Project Ownership & Delivery – Lead the execution of IT projects, particularly application integrations and new system implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration – Act as a liaison between IT, business units, vendors, and leadership, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives and technical requirements.
  • Requirement Gathering & Clarity – Work with business and IT teams to gather requirements, and ask critical questions, and ensure alignment before execution.
  • Process & System Implementation – Coordinate efforts to integrate applications, migrate systems, and implement new technologies while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation – Identify potential project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, proactively addressing them to keep projects on track.
  • Project Coordination & Documentation – Maintain organized project plans, meeting notes, status reports, and risk logs to ensure transparency and accountability. Facilitate and ensure Architecture diagrams are captured and/or updated for every implementation.
  • Change Management & Training Support – Assist with user adoption, training coordination, and process documentation to ensure smooth transitions.
