The Opportunity
We are looking for an intermediate IT Project Manager II to join our team. This individual will support the AVP, IT Applications and QA in managing the IT project backlog. Working with a multi-disciplinary team of product managers, architects, developers, quality specialists and others, this individual will ensure projects of all sizes are managed and delivered effectively. You will use your expertise in project management methodology to make recommendations for continuous improvements on our intake, planning and deliver processes.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • You embrace and champion change. You’ll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.
  • 10+ previous or current work experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with exposure to mortgage lending.
  • Strong communication (verbal/written/presentation), relationship building and analytical skills.
  • 3-5 years of relevant IT Project Management experience
  • Track record managing IT projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile project management principles and practices and experience managing projects in an Agile environment.
  • Mature interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, and influence, all types of professionals.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., CA PPM) and techniques.
  • PMP certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) is an asset.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
