Title: Project Manager
Location: Washington, DC (5 days/week onsite)

Clearance: Secret, eligibility for Top Secret
Improvix Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to oversee and manage IT projects for our federal customer. The ideal candidate will have a fine mix of infrastructure expertise (VMware, Dell, Azure, AWS) and application development experience. The Project Manager is the Government’s primary point-of-contact for application development and infrastructure modernization projects, which includes providing project statuses, taskings, schedules, performance, personnel, risks, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for day-to-day project activities and deliverables; Manages and executes projects using Agile methodologies, to include scrum, and leveraging Jira to facilitate tracking and organization.
• Responsible for all layers of Resource Management, including developing, evaluating resources, and ensuring that all Contractor personnel work collaboratively and professionally with Government and personnel from other contracts.
• Meets regularly with senior-level product owners and key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and productive engagement; initiates feedback sessions; and incorporates PO’s and stakeholders in all Agile ceremonies.
• Performs oversight of the recruitment and retention of top talent, performing Quality Assurance, and communicating verbally and in writing to address changes and challenges. Interact frequently with project stakeholders concerning project.
• Expected to be fluent in all areas of the product and knowledgeable about all major initiatives, issues, and strategic goals.
• Serves as the primary liaison between Government Leadership and the internal customers by relaying direction, escalating concerns, and collaborating on resolutions.
• Must be comfortable leading briefings and high-level meetings.
• Identifies and proposes opportunities for operational and technical improvements, working with the technical leads and solution architects as necessary
• Leads all aspects of Service Delivery for project, assuring all work products and deliverables are delivered by agreed-to dates and at acceptable levels of quality, managing, monitoring, and reporting
• Mobilizes all appropriate Contractor resources to respond to incidents, system outages, crises, and disasters, including those that occur after-hours, relative to assigned applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Responsible for project Risk Management action items, including assessing, planning, and executing mitigation strategies as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Secret Clearance is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry.
• Strong background in app/dev and infrastructure technologies, including VMware, Dell, Azure, and AWS.
• Experience in application development and deployment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
