Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
· Additional technical certifications will be considered an asset
· ConnectWise PSA and Microsoft 365 Application familiarity are considered assets
· Two or more years of experience in Managed Services is considered an asset
· Experience in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is beneficial
· Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential to the role

The IT Project Manager opportunity is a full-time role located in either Owen Sound or in Ottawa, Ontario and is a hybrid role. The successful applicant will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing and managing client-facing IT projects from initiation to successful completion. Daily tasks include project planning, scope-of-work review, coordinating with team members, scheduling project leads, and ensuring projects align with business objectives. The Project Manager will also regularly communicate project progress to stakeholders, address issues promptly, and present data. The role works closely with the INS Sales Department to ensure successful transition from the sales process to project status and completion as well as with integration into stead-state operational practice at the Service Desk level. The Project Manager schedules and leads client project progress meetings and holds action owners responsible for deliverables and due dates. Excellent communication skills are essential to the IT Project Manager role - both internally at INS and between the Project Team and INS clients. The successful candidate will extol the virtues of excellent communication and advise and coach on the benefits of regular updates, client engagement protocols, and assuring clients are always aware of “next steps” throughout all project phases.
