IT PROJECT MANAGER - INTERMEDIATE:

Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager - Intermediate for a 12 months contract. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - INTERMEDIATE - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT Project Manager will be involved in planning and development services, working across multiple agile teams. The role focuses on managing technology projects and requires familiarity with the SAFe methodology.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - INTERMEDIATE - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Five (5) years of IT project management experience.
• Experience with medium to large technology projects.
• Three (3) years of experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency in project resource planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, planning, and analytical skills.
• Well-developed facilitation and mediation skills.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - INTERMEDIATE – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience in the public sector or large organizations.
• Formal training and/or certification in project management (e.g., PMI Project Management Professional).
• Experience with SAFe methodology.
• Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize resources.
• Proven problem-solving skills.

• Manage and lead multiple agile teams in planning and development services.
• Oversee project resource planning and participate in team resourcing.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices as outlined in PMI’s PMBOK® Guide.
