The IT Project Manager is responsible for running multiple technology projects consisting of New Banking Centers, Relocations, Decommissions, and Reconfigurations for a large financial client. This includes overseeing the cabling, network equipment installations, Cisco phone installations, and other network technologies that may be introduced into the branch environment. PRIMARY DUTIES: Manage network, Audio Video, cabling and install projects Manage vendors, prepare quotes and receive proposals, negotiate pricing Manage revenue and cost expectations of the project to meet required margins Work with multiple business units, including Real Estate, Security, and other units to understand requirements and timelines for each project Participate in various required project meetings COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of Network components and connectivity Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow a project through its lifecycle to successful deployment Ability to communicate technical documentation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and industry that is continually changing Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technical/business requirements and offer creative solutions Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate solutions clearly to peers Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years’ experience in network technology Project Management 2-4 years’ experience managing vendors Experience preparing labor/material quotes Background in IT Service Delivery PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: PMP Certification WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing). Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remote – Full time position working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Some overtime maybe required to meet demands.
