Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic IT Project Manager to lead and support technology initiatives related to company acquisitions and application development. This role will work cross-functionally with IT, business units, vendors, and acquired companies to ensure smooth integration of systems, data, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex projects, coordinating technical teams, and working in fast-paced environments with high visibility.
Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions & Integrations

  • Lead IT workstreams during company acquisitions, including due diligence, discovery, and integration planning.
  • Manage integration of IT systems (e.g., email, networks, endpoints, identity access, ERP/CRM, etc.) for acquired entities.
  • Coordinate onboarding of acquired employees and systems with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies related to legacy and new systems during acquisition transitions.
  • Develop integration timelines, checklists, and communication plans.

Application Development

  • Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor development progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Facilitate agile or hybrid project ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
  • Track and report on application performance post-deployment and coordinate updates.

Project Management & Communication

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Escalate and resolve issues, remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, including M&A integration and custom software development.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Strong understanding of IT systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, ERP/CRM platforms, and data migration.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and distributed teams.
