QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven success as an IT Project Manager, ideally within a structured PMO environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading engaging workshops and converting collaborative discussions into actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, meticulous documentation, and strong time management capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet).
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate and Own Workshop Outcomes: Design, facilitate, and meticulously document outputs from pivotal project workshops (discovery, requirements, design, etc.). Translate these dynamic sessions into clear action plans, robust requirements documents, insightful user stories, and streamlined process maps.
  • Power Project Timelines: Develop and rigorously maintain comprehensive project plans, defining key milestones, critical dependencies, and realistic timelines. Proactively monitor progress, anticipate potential roadblocks, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Champion Clarity Through Documentation: Create and maintain a well-organized repository of essential project documentation, including detailed agendas, concise meeting minutes, transparent decision logs, proactive RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), and informative status reports. Ensure seamless communication by delivering timely and professional updates to all stakeholders.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Uphold adherence to internal IT processes, stringent quality standards, and established governance frameworks. Identify and champion opportunities to continuously refine documentation practices, project delivery methodologies, and communication strategies.
  • Fuel Collaboration and Alignment: Partner effectively with diverse cross-functional teams (IT, Business units, external Vendors) to foster a shared understanding of project objectives and deliverables. Serve as the central point of contact for assigned workstreams, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and timelines for all involved.
