Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
The primary objective of the IT Project Manager is to drive the successful delivery of a collection of approved and prioritised IT projects within agreed parameters defined by IT Senior Leadership (Scope, Time, Cost & Quality). The IT Project Manager will manage risks and issues on each project to find the best possible delivery paths.
Every project will target defined valuable outcomes and success will be measured on the achievement of the valuable outcomes.
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, controlling, and managing the end to end delivery of assigned IT related projects.
We recognise that projects do not follow a perfect “blue sky” path and in the event of deviation from agreed plans the IT PM will be accountable for gaining approval for changes in accordance with the relevant project governance procedures and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
It is fundamental to RLB improvement projects that any project realises successful change by considering People, Process and Technology. The IT PM will be accountable on all assigned projects to ensure successful holistic change and “people centric implementation”.
The IT PM position works with technical experts, business analysts, developers, quality assurance and vendors where applicable to ensure their assigned IT projects are completed within the required scope and meet the required schedule and budget.
