Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130K-$155K (depending on experience)
Work Location: This is a remote position.
Summary: Seeking a Senior-level IT Project manager to assist in managing the modernization of legacy apps. An ideal candidate has experience managing agile dev teams deploying to AWS (preferably GovCloud) using CI/CD pipelines. Candidate will act as scrum master, holding daily stand-ups and managing sprint planning. Experience in DoD software development/IT environments extremely beneficial to success in this role.

EDUCATION:

BS/BA degree and 10 years of related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years of related experience OR HS and 16 years of related experience.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and provide technical guidance to a software development team for application modernizations deploying to AWS GovCloud using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain project plans/schedules in GitLab.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and resolve schedule and performance risks.
  • Regularly report project progress and risks to leadership.
  • Work closely with technical teams and subject matter experts, acting as liaison with the customer.
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings with stakeholders and the technical team to gather, analyze, break down, and document requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings across technical teams and with customers to track progress and overcome blockers.Manage planning meetings, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
