Position Summary As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that enable operational excellence across a multi-site Dental Support Organization (DSO). This role ensures successful implementation of IT initiatives, including Practice Management Systems (PMS), ancillary applications, integrations, and infrastructure projects, while maintaining alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Reporting to the SVP of IT, the IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive projects from initiation through completion. Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for IT initiatives. Coordinate PMS-related projects (Denticon, Cloud 9, DSN Cloud) and ancillary technology implementations or adjacent projects. Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards; proactively manage risks and issues. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing clear communication and status updates. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables; escalate issues as needed. Facilitate alignment between IT, Operations, Clinical, and Revenue Cycle teams, among others. Governance & Compliance Ensure projects comply with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2). Maintain documentation for audits, change management, and governance processes. Change Management & Adoption Support organizational readiness for technology changes through training coordination and communication plans. Drive adoption of new systems and workflows by partnering with super-users and operational leaders. Reporting & Metrics Track and report project progress, KPIs, and financial performance to leadership. Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities. Qualifications 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-site environments. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Proven success managing software implementations, integrations, and infrastructure projects. Familiarity with PMS platforms (Denticon, Cloud 9, DSN Cloud) or similar healthcare applications. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet). Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Detail orientated and comfortable working a fast-paced office environment. Excellent oral communication and strong interpersonal skills. Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Preferred Experience Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA A+ or similar certifications. Previous experience supporting doctors’ offices and/or dental practices strongly preferred. Familiarity with dental PMS platforms (Denticon, Cloud 9, DSN Cloud) and imaging systems strongly preferred. Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, ZenDesk, etc.). Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT standards.
