Description

The individual will serve as a “doer” within the PMO, supporting multiple projects simultaneously – including data, cybersecurity, recordsmodernization, and other initiatives as assigned. In addition to core project management responsibilities, this role will contribute to dashboard and report development, workflow and process mapping, procedural documentation, and contract/SOW review support.
The ProjectManager / Coordinator will work closelywith multiple roles to ensureprojects are delivered with strong alignment, structure, and visibility across ISD and the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, trackers, and structured status reports.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Track and update risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support facilitation of project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, process steps, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure project documentation is current, accurate, and aligned with PMO standards.
  • Assist with reviewing contracts, statements of work, and project documentation in collaboration with PMO leadership.
  • Build dashboards and reports using Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, and AI-driven tools.
  • Contribute to building a portfolio dashboard to consolidate project/portfolio visibility.
  • Create and map process workflows, SOPs, and procedural documents to support

standardization.

  • Collaborate closely with PMO leadership, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Analyst/Coordinator, district stakeholders, department leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure coordinated delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field(or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or equivalent role.
  • Experience supporting IT or enterprise technology projects.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with multiple

departments/ teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Smartsheet (advanced reporting, cross-sheet formulas, dashboards)
  • Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, advanced visualization)
  • Power BI (data modeling, dashboard/report creation)
  • Process workflow creation and flowcharting (Visio, Whiteboard, Lucid chart, Miro, or similar tools)
  • AI tools for reports, KPIs, and data analysis

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP (SAP ECC, SuccessFactors), or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Exposure to public sector, education, or large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud application rollouts, cybersecurity initiatives, or data integration projects.
  • Ability to draft procedural documentation and process frameworks.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar mid-level project management certification.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour
