Summary
The Information Technology Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery of successful technology projects supporting both staff operations and guest experiences. The role requires strong project management capability, stakeholder communication, customer service skills and service delivery orientation. The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of IT projects to be delivered on time, within scope, and to the high standards of quality, hospitality, and innovation of the resort.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to guide project delivery.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success measures.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, performance, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful collaboration.
  • Actively gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with business needs.

Risk and Resource Management

  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Allocate resources and manage team dynamics to achieve project milestones efficiently.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and IT security protocols, while aligning deliverables with overall business goals.
  • Uphold quality standards and ensure deliverables meet required specifications at every stage.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote ongoing improvement by analyzing project outcomes and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to refine project management practices.
  • Conduct post-implementation assessments to identify areas of success, improvement, and opportunities to enhance processes for future initiatives.

Supportive Functions

In addition to the performance of the key responsibilities, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.

  • Support other departments and managers as needed.
  • Support hotel guests as needed
  • May be called upon to support other departmental initiatives based on business needs.

Reports to Assistant Director of Technology Projects
External Relationships
He has regular contact with support vendors and external stakeholders and/or other vendor project managers.
Qualifications

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in managing IT projects, including at least one year Hospitality experience is preferred
