Description The Project Manager – Senior will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight of IT projects in support of Navy systems and operations. This role is responsible for managing software development and maintenance teams, directing computer-related activities, and ensuring that IT solutions are successfully delivered to meet Navy requirements. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and direct IT projects, ensuring alignment with mission objectives. Lead software development and maintenance teams in designing, testing, and implementing systems. Manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and risk mitigation. Work with stakeholders to capture requirements, define project goals, and deliver solutions that meet Navy operational needs. Oversee implementation of computer systems and ensure they meet performance, security, and compliance standards. Provide project documentation, status updates, and reports to Navy leadership. Support transition planning and continuity of operations across multiple project lifecycles. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related IT field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management. Experience planning, coordinating, and directing computer-related activities. Proven track record of managing software development and maintenance teams. Demonstrated ability to implement IT systems that meet customer requirements. Certifications: Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certification may be required depending on tasking. Highest anticipated certification: IAM Level III. Security Clearance Requirements Active Secret clearance
