Position Summary
The IT Project Manager will coordinate and lead the implementation of medium to large IT projects and technical improvement efforts, or components of larger, complex initiatives overseeing all aspects the project management life cycle. The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Director of Information Systems as well as functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts. Activities include but are not limited to executing the project management lifecycle on various projects that align to the organization’s vision, mission, and thematic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate, manage, and oversee all aspects of the project management lifecycle for local (Weber Inc.) and global (Weber HQ) projects.
- Responsible for developing project scope, project plans, project schedules, project budgets, and communication plans to meet objectives.
- Provides leadership and direction to the functional team so that tasks and activities are coordinated for project scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management and issue management.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, meeting agendas, meeting schedules, documents, and presentations of the project management life cycle as needed.
- Schedule and facilitate all necessary meetings to foster collaboration to set and manage expectations internally and externally.
- Identify and take action to mitigate potential risks and issues including making recommendations to management when escalation is required.
- Collaborate and coordinate with global (Weber HQ) and other subsidiary resources and stakeholders as needed.
- Present project status/health reports to departmental leaders and the executive board.
- Create all necessary project documentation including but not limited to process flow charts, topology diagrams, policies, and procedures.

- Ability to manage multiple medium-to-large, complex projects at a time using standard practices such as waterfall, agile, and scrum.

- Ability to prepare and effectively communicate project health.
- Ability to manage projects via the use of various industry standard tools (ex: Microsoft Project, Wrike, Jira).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (IT related field preferred) (required)
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing IT projects (required)
- Certifications (preferred): PMP, CPM, PPM
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce (preferred).
- Experience working in an ITIL-based organization (preferred).
Other Requirements
- Current valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Valid U.S. passport or can obtain one.
