IT Project Officer – NSW Trustee and Guardian Temporary full-time vacancy. Up to 6 months with a possibility of extension. 35 hours per week. Location: This role is based in Sydney (Wynyard). Flexible and hybrid working options available. Clerk Grade: Level 7/8. The team applies robust governance and best-practice frameworks to ensure projects are delivered efficiently on time, and to a high standard, enabling innovation and lasting value for the community we serve.     About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity that will see you implement a range of projects within NSW Trustee and Guardian, to support and improve service delivery. This role will accelerate NSWTG’s use of AI and continuous improvement to lift service quality, reduce effort and improve outcomes for customers and staff. You will coordinate discovery, delivery, and benefits realisation across a portfolio of AI and process optimisation initiatives, ensuring compliance with NSW Government standards and NSWTG policies.   In this role, you will: Manage a range of AI and continuous improvement projects and support management to deliver initiatives to NSW Trustee and Guardian. Manage and oversee aspects of project implementation, including monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and managing budgets. Undertake research and analysis to support the development of key projects within NSW Trustee and Guardian. Assist in managing projects designed to review, monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery within NSW Trustee and Guardian. Provide timely advice and communication to relevant stakeholders across NSW Trustee and Guardian regarding project status and implementation issues. Provide advice and support to project team members in undertaking tasks and implementing project plans as required. Prepare a range of project related documents as instructed, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers.  Support and assist in the development of project management methodologies and process across NSW Trustee and Guardian.   For more information about the position, view the role description.   About you We seek a proactive and enthusiastic professional with an interest and exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects, who can help us advance our use of AI in NSW Trustee and Guardian. This person will identify innovative and effective methods for our stakeholders to leverage AI for ongoing improvement.   Application is encouraged if you demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience: Experience working with Artificial Intelligence and its various applications Proven ability to deliver projects in complex environments, ideally within government or a regulated sector.  Understanding of project management methodologies. Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience managing risks, budgets and project reporting.
