Responsibilities

TEAM/ROLE OVERVIEW

The role is part of the Testing Deployment & Environment Management horizontal service of offerings for the Strategic Ledger Transformation program. This is a critical role in coordinating management of change across the various environments utilized by the program and ensuring optimal availability of the lanes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading release management activities to plan and deploy changes for the Oracle Cloud SaaS application and various internal applications into the various environments used by the program.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage migration of change through various environments – lower lanes and production deployment.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to create deployment project plans and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for release activities such as Dress Rehearsal, Cutover etc.
  • Creating a communication plan to inform and update stakeholders on release and environment management activities and scheduled downtimes.
  • Adhering to enterprise standards and policies on release and change management.
  • Understanding and implementing releases during the agreed-upon ‘green-zones’ or maintenance windows.
  • Maintain artifacts required for various tollgates required by program governance.
