IT QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST IV:

On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

IT QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST IV - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV to ensure our software deliverables consistently meet the highest industry standards. This role involves working on projects that may include platform upgrades, migrations, or new development initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to drive continuous quality improvements.

IT QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST IV - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields
• 6+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer
• Hands-on experience with UFT and/or tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, JMeter
• Proficiency in VBScript and/or scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
• Experience writing complex SQL queries

IT QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST IV – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, TestRail, Inflight, Jira, and ServiceNow
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including Regression, Unit, Integration, System, and Blackbox testing
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Working knowledge of Commercial Gas Transmission Pipeline Systems
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Design and execute automated test plans
• Interpret and review system requirements
• Execute regression test cases
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Collaborate with software developers and end users
• Manage and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Conduct systematic assessments of each product release
