POSITION OVERVIEW:

The IT Technician II is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software property-wide. The IT Technician II will also be the main point of contact for Members who are experiencing computer issues and will coordinate any IT related infrastructure and development challenges with the Director of IT Operations.

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience or certifications) preferred but not required
  • Experience in software testing or an IT support role a plus
  • Functional understanding of web and mobile technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the QA field
  • Familiarity with IT issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Monday)
  • Basic knowledge of computer application functionality
  • Experience in hospitality or gaming industry applications is a bonus

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications, and related systems
  • Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Browserstack, Monday, etc.)
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
  • Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Support validation of system performance and usability
  • Provide feedback on application functionality, user experience, and potential improvements
  • Learn and apply basic testing tools and techniques
  • Attend team meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project updates
