This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Risk Manager based in Canada. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise IT governance, cybersecurity oversight, and executive risk reporting within a complex, regulated environment. You will be responsible for managing the full IT risk lifecycle, ensuring risks are properly identified, assessed, tracked, and mitigated across the organization. A key part of your work will involve building clear, data-driven visibility for leadership through advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting tools. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity, audit, compliance, and IT teams to strengthen governance frameworks and ensure alignment with enterprise risk standards. The role also involves maintaining risk registers, supporting GRC processes, and driving consistency in risk management practices. This is a high-visibility position where your insights directly support strategic decision-making and organizational resilience. \n Accountabilities: In this role, you will oversee enterprise IT risk management activities while ensuring strong governance, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Manage the enterprise IT risk register and oversee the full risk lifecycle from identification to remediation Identify, assess, monitor, and report on technology and operational risks across the organization Coordinate IT governance activities and ensure alignment across cybersecurity, audit, compliance, and business teams Track risk mitigation actions and ensure timely remediation of identified issues Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports using Power BI Build and optimize Power BI data models, dashboards, and DAX calculations for risk reporting Support governance committees through structured reporting and leadership presentations Maintain GRC documentation and ensure accurate use of risk management platforms Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen IT governance, compliance, and enterprise risk frameworks Contribute to continuous improvement of risk processes, controls, and reporting standards Requirements: The ideal candidate has strong experience in IT risk, governance, and compliance within enterprise environments, combined with advanced reporting and analytical capabilities. 5+ years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Governance, or GRC within large enterprise environments 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing risk mitigation initiatives Proven ability to prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and governance committee materials Strong understanding of IT risk frameworks, risk registers, KRIs, and governance structures Familiarity with cybersecurity, cloud environments, data management, and IT operations Experience with GRC tools such as ServiceNow IRM, SharePoint, AgilePlace, or Planview is an asset Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in regulated, complex enterprise environments Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business insights Benefits: Competitive compensation aligned with enterprise-level risk and governance roles Fully remote work flexibility within Canada Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package Opportunity to work in a large-scale, regulated enterprise environment Exposure to advanced governance, cybersecurity, and risk management frameworks Access to modern tools including Power BI and GRC platforms Collaborative and cross-functional working environment with senior stakeholders Opportunity to directly influence executive decision-making through risk insights Inclusive and equal-opportunity workplace culture \n How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
