MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an individual contributing Employee-Owner, IT Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team in Burnsville, MN.
The IT Sales Consultant will be responsible for lead generation, utilizing various channels including cold-calling and email campaigns to generate, qualify, and track leads. The primary focus will be to secure first-time appointments with prospects, clearing articulating the value proposition of our Managed IT Services, and generating new business for MSI.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of recent outbound business to business (B2B) sales experience with cold calling and appointment setting experience preferred.
  • 2+ year experience in selling technical solutions
  • People oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Proven success in a competitive environment.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Minimum HS diploma, GED or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Previous B2B sales experience.
  • Ability to establish rapport & develop long-lasting business relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and qualify potential Managed IT Services customers through research, cold-calling, networking events, referrals, targeted email campaigns, and social media to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business leads and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to engage and qualify leads and secure discovery meetings with our team of SME’s.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation and qualification, prospecting activities, and opportunity qualification.
  • Plan and implement new business strategies.
  • Create value through technology.
  • Provide technical business solutions.
  • Create strategic proposals and deliver presentations to C-level executives and senior management.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales methodologies to effectively manage sales cycles and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and Managed IT Services teams to develop strategies and generate demand for Managed IT Services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Managed IT Services space.
