Description
The IT Section Leader provides strategic leadership and direction to a regional or global technical team responsible for a specific functional area or technology. This role ensures excellent customer service and effective execution of departmental objectives through successful project delivery and support operations. The team typically consists of 4–8 associates at level E05 and below. As a technical leader, the IT Section Leader dedicates roughly 50% of their time to managerial responsibilities and 50% to hands-on IT practitioner work. What You’ll Do You perform hands-on technical operations and activities to meet departmental objectives and consumer needs. You plan, coordinate, and schedule assignments and projects with your team, and you help establish strategic and tactical project plans. You prioritize project deliverables based on business needs and resource availability. You monitor project development and communicate progress regularly to management, staff, and customers. You handle key managerial activities such as hiring, performance management, associate development, staffing, budgeting, and enforcing policies and procedures. You identify the resources and skill sets required for ongoing initiatives and provide leadership to staff across all assigned projects. What We’re Looking For You have a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology. You bring 7–10 years of technical experience across multiple IT disciplines with strong knowledge of IT concepts and methodologies. You have experience leading and coaching a technical team. You possess Full Stack Development experience. You have expertise in technologies such as Microsoft, C#.NET, ReactJS, VueJS, and Microsoft SQL. You ideally have experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and Miro. You bring cloud experience with AWS or Azure. You have experience as a product owner or have owned a digital product. You demonstrate advanced IT knowledge and deep technical expertise in at least one specialty area. You have strong presentation, facilitation, and meeting leadership skills. You excel in analytical thinking and problem-solving. You bring effective leadership, team-building, motivation, and delegation skills to drive your team toward shared goals. You are amenable to report onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City.
