• Analysis, evaluation and tracking of security alerts and incidents
• Assessment, prioritization and coordination of vulnerability remediation
• Operational support and further development of selected security tools
• Analysis of identity- and access-related risks
• Technical security input for infrastructure, network, cloud and transformation projects, especially regarding secure remote access, authentication, network segmentation and networked systems.
• Support for IT security governance, audits, risk assessments and compliance activities through technical assessments, documentation and reporting.
• Continuous monitoring of current threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques and relevant security technologies

profile

• Completed studies in computer science, IT security or a related field; alternatively, a comparable qualification.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security.
• Experience with security tools such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Identity Protection, PAM, Firewalls or Remote Access solutions
• Practical experience in monitoring, evaluating, and tracking security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
• Ability to assess security risks in a structured manner and derive clear, actionable recommendations.
• Analytical, structured and proactive work style, as well as experience in collaborating with IT operations, external providers and security stakeholders.
• Experience in a manufacturing company or a basic understanding of networked production and IoT/IIoT-related environments is an advantage.
• Fluent German and English skills
