Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our Information Technology Solutions team. This role plays a vital part in protecting patient information and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OKCIC’s systems and data. Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Information Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding OKCIC’s information assets and maintaining compliance with HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and ISO 27001 standards. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Monitor network traffic, system logs, and endpoint activity to identify potential threats and respond promptly to incidents. Investigate, document, and remediate security alerts and breaches. Conduct vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and configuration audits. Maintain and enforce ITS security policies, procedures, and standards. Manage access control, identity management, and privileged account systems. Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems and ensure secure configurations. Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive defense strategies. Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and compliance evidence. Ensure data protection practices meet HIPAA and privacy requirements. Contribute to security awareness training and phishing prevention programs. Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing. Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, systems administration, or network operations (healthcare or regulated environment preferred). Required Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist, and CompTIA Network+. Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, IT Operations Specialist, Fortinet NSE 3–5, Microsoft SC-900, CISSP, or CEH. Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
