SUMMARY

As an Information Security Analyst at Continental Bank, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our information systems and protecting sensitive data. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards, IT compliance, and IT audits.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
  • 4-5+ years proven experience in IT risk management, IT audits, IT compliance; Preference to experience in banking/finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of system security protocols and practices.
  • GIAC, ISC2, ISACA or other recognized certifications preferred.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NIST, CIS, FFIEC, PCI, SOC II, ISO, and other industry standards.
  • Experience securing cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google).
  • Experience in IT Audit and/or IT Risk Assessment.
  • Experience supporting Information Security functions.
  • Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to identify and problem solve many different issues.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
  • Conduct incident recovery procedures to restore systems after security breaches.
  • Maintain compliance with FIPS standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage user access controls through Active Directory and LDAP systems.
  • Provide training and support for staff on information security best practices.
  • Provide support to company’s employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide support to the organization phone, alarm, and camera systems.
  • Support the annual test of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Provide support to system upgrades and updates.
  • Support employee information systems training (including hardware, software, and security training).
  • Respond after hours to remediate issues or incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
