We are looking for an IT Security Architect for our Bonn location as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

• Independent further development of IT security architectures and solutions
• Establishing framework standards, controls, and reference architectures through the definition of accepted security standards.
• Responsibility for defining, developing and implementing technical security standards within the company
• Further development of automation and cloud technologies in the infrastructure security sector
• Evaluation of new security technologies
• Application of national and international security standards and specifications from various industries for information security (e.g., KRITIS, NIST, BSI)

Your profile

• Completed studies in an IT-related field (e.g., computer science, business informatics), or alternatively, completed vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT specialist) and relevant practical experience in information and IT security.
• Relevant professional experience in IT security with in-depth knowledge of the design and optimization of IT security architectures.
• Solid knowledge in the areas of network security, encryption, authentication, vulnerability analysis and risk assessment
• Extensive expertise in the field of virtual solutions, software and platforms
• Excellent knowledge of current IT risks and threats and their countermeasures, as well as common operating systems, software products and IT baseline protection according to ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication skills in internal and external contacts, initiative, organizational skills, a systematic, goal-oriented and independent work style, and team spirit.
