Responsibilities

As an IT Security Business Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of our cybersecurity initiatives, translating complex business and technical needs into clear, actionable solutions. You’ll take the lead on analysing, documenting, and communicating requirements, user stories, and supporting processes that shape the success of our security roadmap, including projects focusing on identity, role based access controls (RBAC), and Data loss prevention (DLP).
In this role, you’ll work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to assess current security frameworks, uncover areas for improvement, and design practical solutions that boost efficiency and performance. You’ll help drive strategic decisions by identifying issues, evaluating risks and benefits, and analysing the impact of proposed changes right down to cost estimates and potential savings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure adherence of requirements, use cases and processes to legislation, internal policies and governance frameworks.
  • Assist in developing project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of security projects
  • Support the development of IT security project or major change estimates & financial models (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon, etc).
  • Develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will assist in determining the estimate of cost, time, and resources to deploy solutions.
