In a digital world where security is not a static state but an ongoing process, we are looking for an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) who will protect our IT landscape with foresight, technical expertise, and a strong sense of responsibility. IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) Hybrid – Remote (up to 100%)

Tasks

• Analysis and handling of security incidents (Detection, Traige, Containment, Eradication and Recovery)
• Conducting forensic analyses on endpoints, servers and networks
• Development and maintenance of incident response playbooks and processes
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. ISO, IT operations, data protection, legal department)
• Support in the continuous improvement of our security architecture and processes)
• Conducting root cause analyses and lessons learned after incidents

profile

• Completed studies in IT, IT security or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT security, ideally in incident response or SOC environments
• Solid knowledge in the areas of network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), malware analysis and forensics
• Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and forensic tools
• Good knowledge of current threat landscapes, attack vectors and TTPs (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)
• Analytical thinking, structured work methods, and high resilience in stressful situations.
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
