IT Security Engineer (m/w/d)

This will help you grow:

• Thematic responsibility, monitoring and continuous development of the Network Detection & Response (NDR) solutions Vectra
• Thematic responsibility, optimization and management of the SIEM platform Google SecOps including use case management
• Planning the scope, coordinating and providing technical support for penetration tests; conducting internal tests within the defined framework and managing external service providers as needed.
• Assistance in the analysis and triage of security-relevant incidents
• and willingness to occasionally answer emergency calls and initiate necessary measures as required by operations.
• Planning, support and follow-up of internal and external IT security audits

This will help us move forward:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, information technology, cyber security or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the areas of IT Security, Network Security, Security Monitoring or Security Operations
• Solid knowledge of the operation of NDR and SIEM solutions as well as in the analysis of network, system and security events.
• Experience in incident response, audit support, and penetration test coordination
• Excellent German skills at C1 level and good English skills at B2 level, both spoken and written.
• Self-initiative, teamwork, and a solution-oriented, independent, and transparently documented work style
