Role Description We are seeking an IT Security Engineer to manage and enhance our enterprise security environment. The role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, threat detection, monitoring, and incident response. You will ensure security controls meet operational and compliance requirements while maintaining a strong security posture. Responsibilities Manage cybersecurity networks across IT and OT environments. Implement and maintain enterprise network security strategies and controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, DNS security, NDR, and NAC. Apply Zero Trust principles for secure access, least privilege, and continuous verification. Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect threats, suspicious activity, and lateral movement. Implement secure remote access solutions and enforce internet usage policies. Upgrade security controls to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent EOS/EOL risks. Investigate security incidents and improve response and preventive measures. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-2+ years of experience in IT ,Cyber security engineering or a related role. Proven experience managing enterprise IT and OT security networks, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, DNS security, NDR, and NAC. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor network traffic and enhance security controls. Certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Professional Qualys Vulnerability Management Detection and Response; Qualys CyberSecurity Asset Management Cisco Certified Specialist Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Associate; CCNA Comprehensive training and development programs.
