Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Configuration Management and Reporting Specialist responsible for ensuring Saputo’s hardware and software assets and their configurations are known, recorded and accessible. He is accountable for maintaining the relationships between the configuration items that make up the services, the systems and the applications used by the business. This role will also be responsible for the design and implementation of reporting and KPI tracking to support Global Service Delivery. This role is responsible for contributing to continual improvement by identifying reporting requirements, gathering and analyzing data, preparing ad-hoc and regular reporting, developing recommendations and analysis based on reporting, and introducing process improvements throughout the reporting process. They may also be required to support the wider Service Delivery teams with change, problem and incident management.

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a quantitative major
  • Strong quantitative analysis experience and high attention to detail; ability to analyze reports, diagnose opportunities, develop recommendations, and drive follow ups
  • Knowledge of common ITSM processes, tools, and best practices (ITL Foundation or latest version)
  • Experience with the BMC Discovery tool implementation and support
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using BI reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), Excel, programming, BMC Remedy and data management skills
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to supporting the achievement of the organization’s business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Exposure to matrix operated organization is considered a plus
    As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
