Emerson’s Business Management Office is in search of a result driven and customer focused individual to join our IT Finance organization. The ability to work within a team environment, think independently, and to find opportunities to improve processes and procedures is critical to the success of this position and requires to achieve overall purposes and promises to deliver world-class services. The primary function of this position is to perform accounting processes and procedures specifically for our Enterprise Application and Governance Functional Areas. These processes and procedures include budgeting and forecasting along with related variance analysis, intercompany billing transactions, costing of products and services along with related recovery models, and financial aspects of assets and other databases. Given the rapid growth of the centralized function, this position will actively participate in the creation of new processes and the reengineering of existing. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Participate in the annual budget process and monthly/quarterly analysis and roll-up of expected results. * Work with all areas of the Shared Applications to assist in analyzing both current and future product and service costs and related cost recovery models. * Help identify, develop and implement tools, business processes and procedures to accomplish capturing detailed transactions, both on an actual and forecasted basis. * Assist in evaluating potential IT investments both from a ROI perspective and from a business alignment perspective. * Prepare presentations for Senior IT Management, understanding key driving factors. * Participate in strategy and staff meetings. * Deliver analyses and dashboard utilizing digital tools. * Participate in and support change management and communication efforts. * Assist in defining and delivering automation of highly manual activities Who You Are: You bring strong financial acumen and business insight, using key financial indicators and market understanding to drive smart, value-based decisions. You think strategically, anticipating future opportunities and translating them into impactful, forward-looking strategies. You continuously optimize work processes, applying efficient, effective approaches that improve outcomes and support sustainable performance. For This Role, You Will Need: * Masters and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with accounting pricipals and equivalents required. * 3 to 5 years of work experience in business including financial analysis and working in an IT shared service environment * Accounting Experience/Certification * Experience with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint * Ability to excel in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: * Power BI expericence and or the ability to learn quickly * Strong analytical skills a must * Good communication skills, both oral and written.
