Position Summary:
The IT Senior HRIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing Empower’s HR technology strategy by embedding artificial intelligence and automation into core HR processes. This position not only ensures seamless HRIS administration, secure integrations, and system reliability, but also drives innovation through the adoption of AI-powered tools and analytics. Acting as a bridge between HR, IT, and external partners, the HRIS Analyst enables smarter decision-making, predictive insights, and enhanced employee experiences. By combining technical expertise with forward-looking AI applications, this role strengthens Empower’s mission to deliver affordable, innovative medication to 300 million people living healthier, happier lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and accurate system functionality.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary administrator for the HRIS.
  • Lead HRIS upgrades, integrations, testing, and troubleshooting while ensuring optimal performance of HR technology systems.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, and implement system enhancements.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to HR staff and end users to drive adoption and maximize system efficiency.
  • Analyze current HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Lead or support HR technology initiatives such as new system implementations, data migrations, and automation projects.
  • Research and recommend AI-enabled HR technologies—such as machine learning–based talent analytics platforms, employee sentiment analysis tools, and generative AI solutions—that align with organizational goals.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle HCM, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar). Skilled in HR reporting and data analytics; strong Microsoft Excel expertise. Experience with SQL or business intelligence tools preferred.
