QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience in computer/systems engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCA, CCSP, VCP, VCDX, VTSP, VSP, CCNA, CCDA, MCSE, PMP).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data center solutions.
  • Previous experience creating quotes or Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Strong technical knowledge or direct experience with enterprise solutions (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Aruba).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster and manage relationships across internal staff, customers, and C-level executives and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales account teams to develop and close client opportunities.
  • Participate in sales and prospect visits regularly.
  • Lead pre-sales discussions, discovering and defining customer requirements for data center solutions and services.
  • Develop proposals that incorporate designs addressing clients’ specific business needs.
  • Whiteboard IT strategies, vendor recommendations, and business recommendations.
  • Align customers’ and prospects’ business needs with technical solutions, presenting these solutions in terms of business benefits.
  • Present technology roadmaps, trends, and industry priorities.
  • Achieve vendor and manufacturer certifications as required.
  • Perform related IT and sales duties as needed.
