JOB TITLE: SERVICE DESK ANALYST

Location: Bury – Full-time, On-site
Salary: £28,000 per annum + Business Benefits & Bonuses
Hours: 40 hours per week | Permanent

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for a motivated, technically skilled individual with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to great customer service.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a Service Desk or IT support role (ideally ITIL-based).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Windows Server & user support.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
  • Strong documentation and organisational abilities.
  • A-level or equivalent qualification.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents, service requests, and system issues, while supporting our users with a proactive and professional approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing and resolving incidents, events, and service requests in line with ITIL standards.
  • Diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues across a Windows/Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Administering user accounts, security access, and system permissions.
  • Coordinating with third-party support engineers and ensuring issues are followed through.
  • Documenting resolutions, procedures, and technical fixes accurately.
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Evaluating new tools, systems, and services with the Head of IT.
  • Supporting remote users, freelancers, and contractors.
  • Maintaining IT asset inventory and contributing to a strong knowledge based
