Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Service Desk Project Manager - Training Lead to oversee and manage the training program for our service desk team. The Training Lead will be responsible for developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent IT support to our organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and training, especially in an IT service desk environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT support processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for service desk team members.
  • Create training materials, presentations, and manuals tailored to the needs of the team.
  • Conduct training sessions in person or virtually to ensure team members understand IT service desk processes and tools.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make continuous improvements to the training program.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to identify training needs and address skill gaps.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to enhance service desk support quality.
  • Assist in project management activities related to IT service desk projects as needed.
