For the Configuration Management organizational unit, we are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible at our Hannover or Münster location.

IT Service Management Asset Administrator (m/f/d)

Note: the team is currently entirely based in Hanover.

The Configuration Management department will henceforth be responsible for the overarching management of IT service management processes, including Configuration Management and key areas of Asset Management. This overarching process responsibility will create a unified, consolidated database for all IT assets. This will enable numerous other business and specialist processes to reliably work with up-to-date asset information. Our goal: to develop a stable, transparent digital foundation for smooth and future-proof processes.

Tasks:

• Creation, planning and implementation of measures for the recording, classification and maintenance of IT software assets throughout their entire life cycle.
• Ensuring the completeness and data quality of all IT software assets.
• Operation, maintenance and optimization of asset management tools (Opentext, Flexera, ServiceNow) including automated scanning and discovery.
• Providing guidance and support to specialist departments regarding questions about asset data.
• Coordination and consultation regarding process and interface requirements between the participating departments.

Profile:

• Completed studies (business informatics, computer science, business administration with a focus on IT) or a recognized vocational training (IT specialist, IT clerk) with a corresponding specialization or comparable qualification.
• 2-3 years of practical experience in IT service management / asset management
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Opentext or Flexera is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the operation and optimization of ITSM tools are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/PowerShell for data queries is required.
• Structured and solution-oriented conceptual work to make complex asset portfolios transparent completes the profile.
