We are looking for an IT Service Manager, HR & QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) to join our team. As the IT counterpart to HR function and QHSE teams, you will work in close cooperation with business stakeholders, functions and colleagues in IT to codevelop the underlying applications, processes and capabilities. By overseeing and participating in the end-to-end solution development and continuously improving our services, you will ensure our solutions are reliable, compliant and meet business needs. Main responsibilities Act as the key IT partner for HR, and QHSE: Participate in design, development, and testing of IT solutions so that they meet the organization's current and future business needs. Own the end to end Application and service lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle of the applications and services from design and implementation to operations and retirement. Align and prioritize development together with stakeholders and ensure alignment with Valmet’s IT strategy. Participate in process & capability development: Participate in business process development as the IT representative and ensure our solutions and capabilities are aligned. Maintain roadmaps and development plans together with Domain Lead and Enterprise Architect Understand the QHSE, Payroll and Time Management context, processes, requirements, objectives and expectations. Be the trusted SME from IT towards the business and functions. Vendor management: Work in close cooperation with our vendors to ensure the cost-efficient and timely delivery of new development items and support services. Experience and knowledge of QHSE & HR processes and their needs and influence to IT processes Nominated person can be located in Jyväskylä , Tampere or Vantaa and will report to Director, IT Management Processes. IT Management processes team designs, delivers and manages the lifecycle of solutions in HR, QHSE and Reporting & analytics areas. We are looking for an open-minded, development driven team player who enjoys versatile challenges. Strong background from IT or QHSE/HR organization, experience and understanding of different cultures will help you to succeed in this demanding position. You will work in close cooperation with Valmet’s global QHSE and HR functions and related process responsible persons, key users and your own team members and other Valmet IT teams. To be successful in this position, you need to have: Degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) from IT or other relevant field. Work experience (3-5 years) and knowledge about relevant IT solution field Our working language is English, but for tasks related to time and attendance systems and Finnish working time legislation, strong Finnish language skills are essential.
