Description

Deliver trusted IT architecture and solution designs for complex, cross-domain projects within the telecommunications industry. Design end-to-end solutions for enterprise products such as Fixed and Mobile Connectivity, Unified Communications, Cloud & Hosting, and Security portfolios. Ensure quality, cost, and timeline adherence for all deliverables, supporting development, testing, and deployment activities. Provide design expertise across the Sell, Build, and Run lifecycle, including incident management assurance. Lead architecture for IaaS and SaaS-based telecom projects, including cloud connectivity and managed private cloud solutions. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain continuity and integrity of solution designs. Apply frameworks such as TOGAF, TM Forum, and UML for modelling and architecture standards. Work in an agile environment to deliver end-to-end telecom designs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, negotiate solutions, and present designs confidently. Degree-qualified or equivalent technical experience, with 12-15+ years in IT/IS solution architecture within the telecom sector. Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-domain architecture and designs. Strong knowledge of telecom BSS processes (Sell, Build, Run; Lead to Case; Trouble to Resolve). Expertise in connectivity products such as IPVPN, SD-WAN, Ethernet, FTTP, and FTTC. Professional certifications in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure or AWS). Familiarity with TOGAF, TM Forum frameworks, UML, Jira, and Confluence. Skilled in managing third-party vendors and ensuring design continuity. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to anticipate objections, influence stakeholders, and drive service improvements.
