Description
At Apple, we believe in hard work, a fun environment, and the creativity and innovation that only comes about when hardworking people from a diverse group of backgrounds approach problems from varying perspectives The people here at Apple don’t just build products — they craft the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it! Building this environment starts with YOU! We’re seeking a IT Solution Product Manager, who owns the end-to-end vision, design, and evolution of IT applications. You are not a coder or infrastructure architect but a product thinker with strong technical fluency: you translate business needs into well-scoped, usable, scalable application solutions; you guide cross-functional teams through discovery, design, delivery, and iteration; and you ensure every feature delivers measurable value—not just technical correctness. If you thrive at the intersection of business logic, user experience, and enterprise software capabilities—and believe phenomenalt products start with deep empathy and clear outcomes—this is your role. DESCRIPTION You own the what, why, and when—while empowering engineers and partners to deliver the how. As the Product Owner, you will: Define & Evangelize the Solution Vision: Translate business goals (e.g., “improve sales rep productivity”, “enable real-time inventory visibility”) into concrete, user-centered application capabilities—documented as solution blueprints, user journeys, and prioritized roadmaps. Lead End-to-End Solution Design: Own requirements' elicitation, solution scoping, wireframing/mockups (with UX support), integration mapping, and non-functional alignment (security, performance, scalability). Ensure designs balance innovation, maintainability, and operational reality. Drive Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner closely with Engineering, QA, ITSM, Security, and external vendors to shepherd solutions from concept → launch →adoption → iteration. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and release governance. Manage Application Health & Evolution: Monitor usage, feedback, incidents, and SLA metrics—not just to fix bugs, but to identify where the solution falls short of business intent. Lead continuous improvement cycles grounded in data and stakeholder input. Govern Vendor Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Procurement and Project Managers to define solution requirements for RFPs, evaluate vendor proposals, co-design with suppliers, and hold them accountable to product outcomes—not just contractual deliverables. Champion Product Literacy: Build shared understanding across stakeholders: train business users, document solution logic clearly, and advocate for product discipline (e.g., versioning, deprecation plans, change communication). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Strong product mindset: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in application-level product management, solution design, or digital product ownership (not infrastructure/platform engineering). Technical fluency, not technical depth: Solid understanding of modern SDLC (Agile/SAFe preferred), integration patterns, cloud-native concepts (SaaS/PaaS), and common enterprise application domains (e.g., CRM, ERP, Retail POS, Order Management). You don’t need to write code—but you must confidently assess feasibility, trade-offs, and dependencies with engineers and vendors. ITSM & Service Thinking: Familiarity with ITSM principles (e.g., incident/change/problem management) and service lifecycle thinking—critical for designing solutions that are operable, supportable, and aligned with service-level commitments. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual communicator: Exceptional ability to speak both “business language” (processes, KPIs, pain points) and “technology language” (APIs, integrations, data flows, deployment models)—bridging gaps between Sales, Retail, Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers. Proven delivery leadership: Experience leading solution definition workshops, writing PRDs/user stories, prioritizing backlogs, managing vendor co-development, and owning go-to-market readiness for internal Domain awareness: Experience in Sales & Distribution, Retail, or Supply Chain systems is highly valued—but not required if demonstrated ability to rapidly learn complex business domains.
Responsibilities
You will define and evangelize the solution vision, translating business goals into user-centered application capabilities. Additionally, you will drive cross-functional delivery and manage application health and evolution.
