Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a IT Sourcing Coordinator-Supply Chain Management.  In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing strategic sourcing services on spend for NYU Langone Health. This position can be assigned to support any of the following areas: infrastructure, cybersecurity, end-user devices, telecom/network, cloud services, software licensing, or professional services. The Sourcing Coordinator will assist the IT sourcing team with contract cycle management for IT products and services. The Sourcing Coordinator will collaborate with internal teams, including but not limited to MCIT, MCIT Finance, Supply Chain. The Sourcing Coordinator works under general direction from the Sourcing Managers, and reports to Infrastructure Senior Sourcing Manager. Job Responsibilities: * Process Excellence Maintains expiring IT contracts report. Provides contract support for existing and new IT suppliers, IT product/service additions. * Supplier Selection and Contracting Conducts basic pricing reviews and negotiations with IT suppliers and service providers. Must be able to analyze basic contracts, such as terms and conditions as they relate to IT products, software licenses, subscriptions, support agreements, and services. * Analysis Skills Must possess fundamental skills to interpret and analyze data both financially and qualitatively in order to present and interpret outcomes. Must be able to explain and convey data to the Sourcing Managers and MCIT stakeholders. Must be able to identify IT sourcing opportunities from data. * Relationship Management Acts as customer service support liaison. Obtains requestor/MCIT stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment/expectations are consistent with their departmental and organizational goals.  * Cost Savings Helps identify strategic IT sourcing savings opportunities. * Business Process Optimization Seeks ways to improve business processes within (but not limited to) Supply Chain and IT procurement, including standardization and automation where appropriate. * Market Evaluations Gathers and interprets IT market and competitive intelligence through formal and informal processes. * Supports Sourcing Projects Supports Sourcing Managers in ongoing IT sourcing projects. * Performs other duties as assigned.   Additional Position Specific Responsibilities: Additional Required Qualifications: Some knowledge of procurement/sourcing process (IT procurement experience preferred). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc). Bachelors degree Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
