As a Network Systems Administrator at Rincon, you will lead our efforts to execute the deployment, maintenance, and continued operations of our network infrastructure. As part of your role, you will work with IT function leads, program managers, customers, and telecommunications vendors to ensure connectivity, performance, and to continuously improve network capabilities. You will be involved in all areas of network delivery, including architecture, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and service expansion. What are the primary responsibilities in the Sr. Network Systems Administrator position? * Acting as the initial point of contact to provide technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving end-user technical issues * Collaborating with other employees to research and resolve problems * Performing system and office deployments to include computers and peripheral devices * Providing and installing approved hardware and software * Supporting, managing, and maintaining the configuration and installation of end user workstations * Assisting in creating and updating training and knowledge base materials * Conducting new user onboarding, which includes account creation, office configuration, and user orientation and training. * Maintaining computer and equipment inventory for designated site * Provide onsite project support * Manage and maintain local server and networking equipment as well as RF infrastructure * Up to 30% Travel, as required What required background will make you successful? * Active TS/SCI + Poly Security Clearance * US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED CERTIFICATION * Requires security certification in compliance with DOD 8570 within 90 days of hire EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline. Can be substituted with 5+ years of experience. Preferred skills: * Strong demonstrated written and verbal communication skills * Strong demonstrated ability to professionally interact with end-users at all levels * Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite * Understanding of PC hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair * Experience with Microsoft operating systems * Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user management * Experience with Linux operating systems * Experience with Networking systems * Experience using command line navigation Where is the position located?
