Job Description We are seeking a skilled and innovative IT Specialist to join our dynamic team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our organisation's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our staff and clients. Manage and maintain the organisation's computer systems, networks, and software applications Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues for staff and clients in a timely manner Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives Conduct regular system audits and performance analyses to ensure optimal functionality Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and documentation Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and software applications Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers Assist in the development and management of the IT budget Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT role, preferably in a corporate environment Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure Proficiency in various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS Experience with network security protocols and best practices Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively Experience with IT service management and troubleshooting Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Adaptability to work in an island setting and embrace the local culture Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation would be advantageous Knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture would be a plus Additional Information What awaits you...
