Description

Purpose: This full-time 35-hour/week position is a crucial member of an organization’s IT department, responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and contributing to system improvements. This role bridges the gap between entry-level positions and senior roles, requiring a blend of technical skills and independent problem-solving abilities. They are expected to troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to projects, and often collaborate with various teams.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role preferred.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS), Microsoft 365 administration, and endpoint management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) and protocols.
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security tools, backup platforms, and imaging software.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Freshservice, or Zendesk.
  • Experience with SQL Server 19 or better.
  • Experience with and practical application of Artificial Intelligence in a business setting.
  • Experience in website design.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work is performed in both office and community settings.
  • Must be able to attend meetings or events at various ACHA and community locations.
  • Must be capable of working in environments that may be hot, cold, damp, or dusty.
  • Requires sufficient manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, calculator).
  • Must be able to lift and handle small office items such as files, reports, and supplies.
