Description

We seek a skilled and versatile IT Technician who is comfortable providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support with a strong aptitude for system administration, managing projects, and prioritizing tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IT support and will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving our IT systems. In addition to handling day-to-day technical issues, the IT Technician will play a key role in managing our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, administering group policy, and assisting with server management.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support (Tier 1 & 2).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating system.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management standards and configuration.
  • A solid understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Operating Systems troubleshooting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with backup technologies such as Veeam.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide prompt and effective support for internal users across multiple time zones, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer and support MDM via Intune and Apple Business Manager for global BYOD and company-owned devices.
  • Design and implement Group Policy Objects to support configuration standards across the organization.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment (computers, printers, servers, etc.).
  • Participate in special projects, including system upgrades, network deployments, and hardware installations.
  • Lead and execute implementation projects such as new software rollouts or system migrations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes, security, and efficiency within the organization.
  • Document all troubleshooting steps, procedures, and solutions in a ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on new systems or software implementations.
