Are you looking to grow your IT career and join a dynamic company? Cedar Point Federal Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for an IT Specialist III in Lexington Park, MD. The IT Specialist III is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The specialist responds to inquiries from Members and Employees and provides Tier III support to resolve issues. The specialist also assists members with digital accounts via web, mobile, or Teller24.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An associate’s degree in IT or Business is required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Two years of help desk support experience is required.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience are required.
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security +, Microsoft IT Support Certifications or equivalent, preferred.
  • Knowledge of general computer equipment and operating methods.
  • PC and Digital Banking experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform duties according to procedures.
  • Ability to work under direct guidance and to obtain technical advice from operation manuals and verbal instructions.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and must have a good rapport with the public and co-workers.
  • Two years of Credit Union experience is preferred.
  • Member Service Representative experience is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for deployment and management of end-user devices, including computers, tablets, printers, and other various hardware.
  • Acts as secondary liaison for support vendors.
  • Backup IT phone support for both Membership as well as employees.
  • Assists Members in gaining access to digital accounts via web, mobile, or Teller24.
  • Provide application access and support to staff and Membership.
  • Provide general task supervision and mentorship to Tier I and Tier II support, and provide Tier III support in an attempt to resolve computer issues.
  • Provides end-to-end print support.
  • Assists with cleaning and maintenance of data center and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other staff in the IT Department to resolve systemic problems and implement solutions.
  • Complete required and recommended education courses. Follow all rules and regulations as applicable to the job function, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • All other duties assigned.
